Description:	The book al-Tadhkirah bi Aḥwāli al-Mawtā wa Umūr al-Āḳhirah authored by al-Imām al-Qurṭubī discusses al-mawᶜizah (admonishment) of death and the Day of Judgment (Resurrection). It comprises several aḥādīth of ṣaḥīḥ and ḥasan categories. However the book also contains aḥādīth of ḍaᶜīf (weak) and mawduᶜ (false). Thus, these aḥādīth need to be further analysed in order to identify their positions. This study, therefore, is aimed to clarify the methodology of the author in presenting the aḥādīth apart from analysing and assessing them. This study is a content analysis study involving a primary source, namely the book al-Tadhkirah biʾaḥwāli al-Mawtā waʾUmūr al-ʾĀḳhirah authored by al-Imām al-Qurṭubī. The analysis of this study is done deductively through a process of takhrīj by collecting 50 aḥādīth found in the chapter of al-mīzān of the book but are not mentioned in the Ṣaḥīḥayn and by tracing their original sources either with or without sanad if deemed necessary. Subsequently, the statuses of aḥādīth are classified according to the opinions of aḥādīth scholars or based on research. The conclusion of this study indicates that al-Imām al-Qurṭubī focussed on the aspects of advice and admonishment. Therefore, he did not set condition for aḥādīth sahih to be included in his book. This study also finds that out of the fifty aḥādīth analysed, two are repetitive. Five aḥādīth are ṣaḥīḥ, three are ṣaḥīḥ lighayrih, six are ḥasan, seven are ḥasan li ghayrih, twenty two are ḍaᶜīf, of which eleven have acceptable meanings and another five are not known of their positions. The implication of this study is that the inclusion of the aḥādīth ḍaᶜīf in the books al-Tadhkirah does not affect the credibility of al-Imām al-Qurṭubī and some of the aḥādīthcould also be actually supported and promoted to higher status by tracing and identifying their chains of narration, shawāhid and mutābaᶜāt.,Tesis ini tiada Perakuan Tesis Sarjana / Doktor Falsafah"
