Description: Through the poems gathered below, we wished to complete the idea that we can form not of the philosopher, not of the doctor but of the Avicenna man (6) and his various poetic means of expression. This is why, in many verses, when the letter of the text was to difficult to convey in French, we preferred to convey the spirit. We have chosen to highlight this collection of texts with a definition of the poet given by Marcello Fabri, and which seems to us the very idea that we can have of an Avicenna capable of of escaping of escaping from the sciences, of freeing himself from their formal obligations to indulge in the varied impulses of his inspiration.
